The statistical study of elections
By Statlas Editorial · 1 min read
Psephology is the statistical study of elections and voting behavior. The term was popularized by R. B. McCallum (1898-1973, British political scientist), whose systematic study of the 1945 British general election, co-authored with Alison Readman, established election analysis as a rigorous, data-driven field rather than journalistic speculation.
